Burberry Womenswear SS16
Burberry’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2016 show took place in London’s Kensington Gardens on 21st September 2015. Again, Christopher Bailey presented such delicate and fun pieces to show us and he called it Functionregalia. He showcased classic coats and functional pieces which were mixed with elements of regalia including metallic cording, crested buttons and hand-embroidered military motifs. English lace and floor length satin dresses were paired with leather biker jackets, and regimental tailoring with tie-dye tulle. Burberry focused on colors such as black, white, navy, gold, cream and nude.
As part of the Burberry Runway Made To Order (RMTO) program, selected outerwear and bags from the collection can be purchased and personalized till 5th October on Burberry.com or by appointment in selected stores. This will give you a chance to own pieces of the collection months before they arrive in store.
Here are some of the pieces which are my favorite!

For a brand that’s established in 1856, Burberry had definitely conquered the world of technology and fully utilized it. Viewers globally were able to watch the show in multiple platforms including Burberry.com Youtube, Snapchat, Livestream (like my post here), LINE, Twitter, Facebook and a few more. Clever marketing team don’t you think?
