Precious Moment With Dior

by
I have a story to tell. A story about Dior’s jewelry. The story that was shared from the house of Dior to its staff members all over the world and now to me by a few wonderful ladies and gentlemen in Ion Center, Singapore.
As always, I walked in to some of the warmest smiles, and that felt so welcoming. They sat me down, made me feel comfortable and served me tea and a fruit platter. Then, the story began.
Once upon a time, about 25 years ago, the house of Dior found Victoire de Castellane. She is the mastermind behind all the bling and blitz for Dior. She could magically transform gemstones into beautiful jewelries that are luxurious and desirable. Come, let’s take a tour through my photos and let me show you some of her gorgeous “touch” to these jewelries. These pictures don’t do much justice, as the actual products are much more glamorous!

Caprice Bracelet and Ring – Diamonds & Sapphires
Cher Dior Exquise Earrings – Gold, Diamonds, Sapphires & Emeralds
Precieuses Tréfle Necklace – White gold, Diamonds, Fancy Yellow Diamond, Pink Sapphires &
Emerald
Ma Bague Ring – White gold, Diamonds & Blue Paraiba type Tourmaline
These beautiful rings can be worn in 2 ways. Stacked-up like this OR separate it across 4 fingers like the picture below.

Out of all the stories told, one that stuck with me most is the world of Bellandone Island. In Belladone Island, there are seventeen poisonous flowers and butterflies secluded on a mysterious island. In this island, the most beautiful, and the one that caught my attention, was the queen bee named Reina Magnifica Sangria. Although beautiful on the outside, the tiny red-tinged droplets of sap imply that you could be the next victim.

On Belladone Island, some of the flowers open at dawn and close at nightfall. When Dracula Spinella Devorus ring opens up, its unexpected inner beauty blooms. It is like staring into a starry sky whose magnificence is mirrored by a gleaming diamond-studded center.

Each jewel in the Belladone Island has clever mechanism that is designed to snare its prey. I was also told that, on the day Belladone Island was displayed to the public in an exhibition, the order list was full! Now, these pieces are not for sale anymore.

This is probably one of the closest ring to a Belladone Island design. It is one of my favorite among all too =)

I know this is a very heavy and long post and I would like to thank you for reading. I hope you’ve enjoyed the short tour and my story telling session. If there’s a flagship Dior store where you are, do drop by and have them show you some of the jewelries. Yes, they are costly, but at least you get to see them for real.
