On A Serious Note [Day 12]

by
I use to wear this to work when I was working in the corporate world. Now that I’m out of it, sometimes I still miss wearing something casually-serious like that. I bought this Zara jacket many years ago and I still love it till today. Glad blazers never got out of style =)
In a way, I can relate to the event today. It’s Teacher’s Day! Happy Teacher’s Day to the teachers out there. Their guidance and leadership can make such a huge difference in our lives. I’ve fond memories of 2 teachers in particular. One of them is Mrs Susilla and she taught me English in primary school (in America, you guys called it elementary). Mrs Susilla was a very fierce teacher and we wouldn’t dare to forget anything or whatever she asked us to do. She will use her board duster and throw it at the person who dares to fall asleep or not pay attention in her class. LOL!! Another teacher I can remember significantly was my neighbor. My Math was bad. Like, really. I’m one of those Asians who suck at Math. This lady who happens to stay around my neighborhood, tutored me Math almost every afternoon when school’s over. Most of the time, I scored C- or D in Math. Yup, told you I was bad but, I got a B+ in my finals. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t think I’ll ever have good grades for Math in school. What about you? Do you have a particular teacher that you’ll remember for a long time?
