If you would have noticed in some of my pictures, I’ve been wearing a particular ring on my finger lately. It is no other than the Bulgari B.zero1 Ring. I went shopping a few weeks ago and saw this ring advertised discretely on Bulgari’s window. My bf and I got curious so we went in the store and asked further. We found out that Bulgari has created this ring since 2009 to save the children. At €420. €90 are donated to save the children.
I like the design of the ring. I also like the thought that a portion of my purchase goes to charity. That my 90euros are able to buy books for 18 children in Brazil, setting up a school in India, provide training for 13 teachers in Indonesia and much more. You can read more about it
here. The oxymoron here is that, both my bf and I made a conscious choice not to have children yet we are contributing a purchase for these children. Well, we are able to make that conscious choice not to have kids but these kids didn’t choose to be where they are right now. So we try to give them hope for a better future.
