Collection #64 – Celebrating Father’s Day

by
Yesterday my family and I celebrated Father’s Day (minus my sister). Growing up, I didn’t see my Dad as who he is today. He was a stern and serious man. I suppose that was how he taught us discipline. Now, I find him the simplest and the most generous man in my world. From him, I learn to be more discipline with life and work, financially wise and most of all, to be patience. In which, I’m kind of still in the progress of being more patient with things. He even showed me his younger days pictures and told me that bell-bottom jeans will be a come-back someday and true enough, it never went out of style! =D How cool is that?

What I realize when we were out for dinner was that Father’s Day wasn’t celebrated as big as Mother’s Day. I wonder why? Is it because Mom’s Day is worth to celebrate more than Dad’s? And that Dad’s sacrifices are not as much comparing to Mom’s? I don’t think fathers sacrificed less than mothers but they equally contributed as much in parenthood and both are equally worth caring for. So I decided to brighten my dad’s day with a touch of neon colors. I like the prints on this dress. It’s a mixture of Floral in neon colors with the classic Black & White. The envelope clutch is my favourite. It can store an iPad too! =D
