The True Meaning Of Christmas

by

Christmas is the season to be jolly, yes, that’s undeniable, but it is also a season to give. Recently, I organized a Christmas giveaway together with 3 other bloggers (Caity, Bree & Allie) and together, we gave away an iPad Air. To me, I think this is one of the best giveaway I’ve done so far. It is not because of the price tag that makes this gift so special, but it’s about how much it means to a special someone.

I woke up on Christmas Eve reading this email and I had tears in my eyes:

Hi Yen!

I received the package today and words cannot express how happy I am! Thank you for making the end of my year so amazing. Last December someone stole my iPod and I was so devastated because I didn’t have enough in my budget to replace it. Some people might think an iPad isn’t a huge deal, but I was literally crying (happy tears!) when I won because I would of never been able to afford something like this.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am and hopefully one day you’ll receive something AMAZING in return for your kindness.

Oh, and I almost forgot! I also wanted to also thank Caity, Bree & Allie who helped with this giveaway! Together you guys made the ending of my year 100 times better!
I walked over to the sofa, sat down and prayed. I am thankful that I’ve been blessed with so much in life and I am grateful for my blessings. I know that receiving presents and unwrapping them is definitely fun, but giving is so much more fulfilling. What about you? What are you thankful for this year and did Santa come for a visit? Have yourself a Merry little Christmas =)
