Travel – Abraham Lincoln’s Legacy Lives

by

On the 3rd day in Washington DC, I went on the Hop-on Hop-off bus again and this time I specifically wanted to learn more about Abraham Lincoln. I’ve heard quite a lot about him but I wanted to know more about his legacy.

Our first stop was the Lincoln’s Memorial. Then we hopped on the bus again and headed to the Ford’s Theatre. I got all excited to read more about this part of the history. At the end of the tour, I was definitely saddened by his departure. Well, I’m sure God has his purpose and indeed Abraham Lincoln did what he has to do for America and his legacy definitely lives. I know I am bombarding this post with tonnes of pictures. I hope I’m able to share this part of the history with you too.
Don’t forget to join my giveaway (International)! Hope you’ll get lucky =)

Well, this is a very sad day and had definitely created such a significant part of the American history.
Look at all the books about Lincoln!
After a long day of history, I deserve the coffee break. Btw, it got chilly so I decided to get a cardigan from Banana Republic =)
