Few weeks ago, I was invited by Tiffany & Co. for their official launch of Tiffany Hardwear. Tiffany Hardwear is a bold new jewelry collection that embodies the power and spirit of New York City. The collection name and designs draw inspiration from the urban soul of the city, where the modern rebel mixes high fashion with streets style.
This collection is reimagined and redesigned based on a unisex bracelet from 1971. The collection includes earrings, rings, necklaces and pendants, which goes perfectly with either a leather jacket as it does with couture. The key piece to this collection is the chain with detachable lock and ball. That goes to show how versatile it can be when it comes to styling.
Speaking of the ball on the chain, it reminds me of the Wrecking Ball in Miley Cyrus’ music video. I thought she made a good model for this range but they definitely found the right person to represent the brand. She’s no other than Lady Gaga! She brought something so classic yet made it edgy in her own way. She’s a rebel yet she stays true to herself. Lady Gaga and her originality, creativity and courage, reflects the spirit of this collection.
This campaign was created by Tiffany’s in-house team in partnership with Grace Coddington, and shot by David Sims. This video was also aired during the Super Bowl Sunday. If you want to learn a little bit more about behind the scenes, watch the video here. She said a sentence that captured my attention.
It is a misconception that a man or your lover has to buy you jewelry. A woman can buy her own jewelry and put it on with dignity that you earned it – Lady Gaga
Tiffany Hardwear collection is now available at the store, with limited edition and exclusive pre-orders as well. To be honest, it was just too crowded on the day of the launch in KLCC. I didn’t get to take a good look at everything but I spotted something which I like most among the few. It was the Ball Bypass Bracelet. Love this one in rose gold but the one I saw was in gold and it was pretty as is. For further details, do give your nearest Tiffany & Co. store a call or email the customer service.
