Hair Care When Travelling

Hair Care When Traveling

Recently, in the month of March, I was away in Europe for vacation. I had my hair cut and colored before I left, so my pictures would turn up looking good! Over the years, I’ve learned to pack smart. With the right products, you don’t need varieties, but only necessities to take care of your hair when traveling.
These are the 3 must-pack items for my hair:
1. KERASTASÉ SHAMPOO

Kerastase Shampoo

Just like we cleanse our face with the right cleanser, the scalp needs a good shampoo too. Since my hair has been colored, I needed a shampoo that can minimize color wash-out and still clean thoroughly. Kerastasé Bain Chroma Riche Shampoo is able to keep my hair healthy, protect the color and preserve the color to last longer.

2. KERASTASÉ CONDITIONER

Kerastase Conditioner

After cleansing, I use Kerastasé Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure to repair and condition my hair. This conditioner is meant for hair that uses heating tools to style regularly and also blow dries a lot. Even the exposure to the sun weakens the hair, and weak hair suffers from split ends. By using this conditioner, I can see my hair was strengthened and have minimal split ends, even though my hair has been color treated.

3. LABEL M PROTEIN SPRAY

Label M Protein Spray

I was  introduced to Label M by my hairstylist, William, from Toni & Guy. Label M was developed by a team of professional stylists and it became their in-house brand. I was advised to spray 4-5 times of Protein Spray all over, before and after blow drying my hair. Don’t worry about it being sticky, for it doesn’t hardened the hair at all. The Bamboo Extract smooth and add moisture to the hair while protecting it from the heat. This spray will also strengthen the hair structure by replacing keratin protein and protect the color from fading rapidly.

Conair Hair Curler

I also packed this hair styling tool – Conair Hot Air Styling Brush. I used it only when I wanted my hair to be disciplined and with extra volume. I do not encourage you to use it as a hair dryer because it’ll take forever to dry your hair! Use it to style with a semi-dried hair. Repeated use of heat instruments will make the hair fragile. Hence, having a good shampoo and conditioner makes a difference. This styling brush has dual voltage so it’s great for countries with lower voltage too.

That’s it! I hope this will help you to pack light and easy for your next vacation.
