A Visit To Galeries La Fayette

by
After much rest, I recovered from my flu and fever. Woohoo! Couldn’t be happier to be going out and about. We decided to decorate the house a little and make it warmer so, we went to Galeries La Fayette and did some shopping. I like Galeries La Fayette for the choices they have and it seems like I can find everything under one roof. For foreigners like me, I can get back the tax refund (VAT) in the mall itself. So that makes shopping real easy and I don’t have to deal with the VAT at the airport.

We did some early Christmas shopping as well. Was just trying to beat the Christmas crowd because it can get pretty horrendous. Oh, I am definitely feeling the Christmas mood over here =)

Galaries La Fayette

Diptyque Candle – Verveine (love the scent of lemon)
Acqua Di Parma – Shower Gel & Body Cream
Another candle that I like from Diptique is Feuille de Lavender

We even got ourselves Fitbit in the Apple Store across the street. Have you heard of Fitbit? It’s this tiny device you wear on your wrist and it tracks your daily steps, distance walked in a day, calories burned and sleeping pattern. Well, I guess we’re just trying to keep ourselves healthy.

Got myself the pink Fitbit =)
This Apple store use to be a bank. I like how they kept the original structure =)

After all the shopping, we head over to the gourmet session (Galeries La Fayette Maison) that’s filled with a huge variety of food! We both looked like kids lost in a candy store. I guess one should never shop for food when hungry. LOL! Since my bf love Pret-A-Manger, we had lunch there, packed some food home and call it a day. Guess we’re still trying to beat our jet lag.

Nothing beat some great ham =)
Thank you for reading my blog. Wishing you a great day =)
