Four Seasons Budapest

Initially when my bf and I were planning for our Budapest trip, we narrowed down our choices to Kempinski and Four Seasons. After looking at the pictures, and based on our previous experience on Four Seasons Langkawi, we decided to go with Four Seasons instead. We usually book our hotels through Expedia but sometimes it’s good to compare prices from their individual websites too as they do run some attractive promotions.

So far, I’ve stayed in two Four Seasons – Langkawi and Prague. They both did not disappoint at all! This time, we were both impressed too. Four Seasons Gresham Palace did such a great job that it’s so hard to not love their services. We booked a Deluxe room but during the check-in process, they offered a preview of the upgraded room with a great view. You know, Four Seasons always do this and somehow find their way into our weakness. We both always fall for the room with a great view and it’s hard for me to say NO to upgrades!

The most impressive thing which I can remember till today would be the Concierge’s impeccable knowledge. Especially Marta who had booked us to two scrumptious restaurants and we left Budapest with such great gastronomical impression. They did a fantastic job introducing us to many must-visit places in Budapest and we had such a great time visiting those beautiful places.

The bed is heavenly and when it makes you want to stay in there for the rest of the day =)

So, here are some of the pictures I would like to share with you. We were there in winter and I was hoping that there will be some snow along the way but I experienced a pretty warm winter. That’s according to the locals. Though, standing at the balcony overseeing the Danube as sun light fades behind Buda, warm winter or not, it’s just as beautiful.
