Travel – China (Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong) Part 2

If you have not been following Part 1, you can view the pictures here.

Our journey continues to Jiuzhaigou. In Mandarin, Jiuzhaigou literally means “Valley of Nine Villages”. They’re the Tibetan villages. This place is well know for their multi-level waterfalls, colorful lakes, and snow-capped peaks. Every season caters a different scenery. Jiuzhaigou Valley was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1992*

We’ve been talking about visiting this place for many years but only till last year we finally arranged a trip there (minus my bf as he’s not into nature). Man…he’s missing out!! LOL! I personally think this is a beautiful place and the scenery is breath-taking. The only complain I have was that it’s just too crowded. It’s China. What can I say. It’s definitely hard for me to take beautiful pictures like I want it to be but this is the best I can do.

If you flip this picture vertically, you can see lots of faces. Can you see the Jedi?  Or a face of a baboon?
For someone who seldom use a DSLR to take pictures, he did quite a
good job don’t you think? Thanks Dad =)
It started to rain and it’s time to go back to our hotel
How the hell did we get from Rhombus Hotel in Chengdu (such comfort) to this?!!
