Travel - China (Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong) Part 1

As I was cleaning up my hard drive, I saw some of these pictures during my travel last October 2012 to China. I totally overlooked these pictures and didn't share with you. As this trip was about a week, I'll break it into parts to show you the different cities I've visited in Szechuan.

This is a family trip (minus my sister) to a beautiful place in Szechuan called Jiuzhaigou. Before we get there, we decided to stop-over at Chengdu for a day before flying again to Jiuzhaigou. There's 2 ways to get to Jiuzhaigou. One can either take a flight (like what we did) or take an 8 hour scenic bus ride. Or one can charter a cab to get there which take the same route as the bus. Although, flying is pricier but it only takes about 45 minutes from Chengdu. So we get to save a lot of time.

In Chengdu, we stayed in this beautiful hotel in called Rhombus Fantasia Chengdu Hotel. We love this hotel for it's comfort and cleanliness. The only downside is just that we couldn't find much street food and the hotel is away from most of the major shopping malls. Let me show you the wonderful hotel and also my adventure in Chengdu.

People are actually lining up for smelly tofu. Have you tried it before?

I'm a bad Chinese and I don't know what this characters mean =P
They were making Molasses with Peanuts. It's yummy!

A trip to Chengdu is not complete without having this Spicy Steamboat.
It numbs your tongue too! Damn..
An Eastern version of Starbucks! LOL!
