Just back from a 3d/2n vacation from Singapore. It was a great adventure with much entertainment and shopping. Yet, it was a bittersweet vacation for me. The purpose of this trip was to send my sister off to a far far away place. Part of me felt happy for her, as she’s going there to better her life, but another part of me felt that I’m going to miss my best friend for a while.. =( The only mode of communication is through phone calls. Oh well..I guess this part of life’s ups and downs..

Marina Bay Sands hotel is indeed huge, although I find the pool is a little crowded. They have a few individual jacuzzis too. Hotel guests are able to go up to the 57th floor to swim, dine and use the observation deck for free. Visitors have to pay S$30 to visit this floor, unless you are there to dine or have a drink at the Ku De Ta Lounge. The sight from the observation deck is breath taking indeed.

Here comes the entertainment part. Went shopping with Mr AWesome at Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall. You can shop the whole day there, including window shopping, without going anywhere else. They have every high-end store you can imagine. LV store is completing their next biggest stand-alone store there as well! Fancy..

Finally had my 1st “blue box!” *Haaapy* I’m charmed already. Wore it to The Lion King Live Performance that night. It was a great show and no one should miss this opportunity to go watch it, especially if you are in South East Asia. All the costumes, stage make-up, props used and the performers are tastefully done and picked.

After all the fun, sun and shopping, I came back with a few new items (will definitely take some pics to share with you guys) and a bag of bittersweet memories. Not too bad for a hop-n-skip vacation.
